How does selling work?
1) Submit your lot with counts by type and photos on the Sell page. 2) We approve it and email packing instructions. 3) You ship it. 4) We count and verify, then pay through PayPal, or cash locally.
Can I ship before I hear back?
No. Don't ship before approval. Unapproved packages may be refused or returned at your cost.
What are the requirements for my cards?
English cards only, at least 95% Near Mint, code cards removed, and sorted by type if possible.
Do you do local pickup?
Yes. In the Mt Pleasant, MI area we pick up or meet you, count on the spot and pay cash, so there's no shipping cost. Same rates as mail-in.
Do you buy Basic Energy or other games?
Not right now. Pokémon only, no Basic Energy.
Do you buy by mail?
Yes, but submit your lot for approval first. Mail-in lots need to meet our minimum ([MAIL-IN MINIMUM TBD]) because shipping costs eat into small lots. Don't ship anything before we approve your lot.
Do mail-in lots get a lower rate?
No. Local pickup and mail-in pay the same rates, listed on our pricing page. Rates are an estimate; the final offer comes after counting, subject to condition and count.
Who pays shipping?
The sender pays shipping on mail-in lots. Ship USPS only, since our PO box can't receive UPS or FedEx.
How do you count?
We weigh lots to estimate and hand-count the valuable categories. We may record the opening for our records.
How do I get paid?
Cash for local pickups. PayPal Goods & Services for mail-in, after you accept the final offer. We never pay before a lot is received.
What if the final offer is lower than my quote?
Quotes are based on what you tell us. If the count or condition differs, we'll explain why. You can decline and we'll return the cards at your shipping cost.
What about fakes or damaged cards?
Counterfeits, proxies and water- or smoke-damaged cards are removed and not paid for.
Are you affiliated with The Pokémon Company?
No. Bulk Card Lab is an independent business that buys and sells used trading cards.
